2016 Festival PosterOne of the oldest festivals in Syracuse, the 86th Middle Eastern Festival was nominated as one of the top ethnic food festivals in Syracuse. We are known for our delicious food and festive ambiance.

Our festival boasts of heart-healthy menu items, which is what our Mediterranean Diet is all about. Everything is made from scratch, using only fresh ingredients. Even our grape leaves are hand-picked, at their peak season, right here in Syracuse.

We cannot wait for you to try our fresh Tabouli, a salad made from finely chopped parsley with tomatoes & cracked wheat, drizzled with certified organic extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. Come and try shish kabob, our skewered beef tenderloin, and our Middle-Eastern staple: crunchy, light falafel and creamy hummus to go with it. Our oregano-sesame blend with certified organic extra virgin olive oil flatbread called Manousheh, is amazing. Also try our creamy Labneh, a savory, spreadable yogurt that pairs perfectly with our certified organic extra virgin olive oil. If you are not hungry yet, our homemade, flaky baklawa will make you, or maybe zalabye will do the trick, our fried dough balls, dipped in syrup and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.

Whether we are dancing our traditional dance (known as Dabkeh), making Paninis or selling raffles, we are doing it all with love and a smile. The Syracuse Middle-Eastern festival has done so well in the past because nothing beats teamwork! In fact, it’s done so well, that we decided to extend our festival for 4 days instead of 3. We will be open from Thursday July 7th till Sunday July 10th.
